Our SPC speed control gas spring reduces the return speed of the blank holder just before it reaches the top dead center. This operation is achieved by damping the piston rod speed of the KALLER SPC to 0.4 m/s in the last 30mm of the return direction, resulting in a smooth stop for the blank holder, which minimizes damage to the press mold.
